Lorry maintenance FAQs

What can I book on Saturday?

Only Normal Service and Major Service are accepted for Saturday bookings. Repairs, complaints and inspections are not accepted on Saturdays. The centre must confirm every requested date and time.

Which centre receives my message?

The centre you choose receives the WhatsApp enquiry. Batu Caves HQ: 018 919 8000; Kota Damansara: 019 266 3162; Puncak Alam: 018 959 2000.

What lorry maintenance can I enquire about?

PTM handles lubricant servicing, brakes, air conditioning, genuine parts replacement, engine diagnosis and mechanical repairs. Wheel alignment, balancing and tyre work should be confirmed with your chosen centre.

Should I choose Normal Service or Major Service?

Share the model, mileage and service history. The team can discuss the appropriate service against the vehicle’s maintenance requirements; there is no single interval or package for every lorry.

Can you plan maintenance for several fleet vehicles?

Yes. Share fleet size, models, mileage and operating schedules. PTM can discuss a preventive service plan and appointment arrangements around the work your vehicles do.

Should a warning light be diagnosed before servicing?

Tell the workshop about the warning light and symptoms when booking. A diagnostic check may be needed alongside routine servicing to understand the fault before deciding on repairs.

Are genuine parts available for the service?

Genuine parts support is available. Confirm the correct component, availability and applicable warranty terms in the quotation for your vehicle.

How are repair costs and collection timing confirmed?

The workshop reviews the required work and parts before quoting. Ask for an estimated completion time and agree any additional work with the team; timing depends on the actual job.
