Maintenance
Planning commercial vehicle maintenance.
Prepare vehicle details and service history so workshop support can be planned around fleet work.
Updated

Preventive maintenance is planned servicing intended to keep a working vehicle ready for its next job. Inspection helps the workshop understand the vehicle and its condition before discussing the required work. PTM Group provides commercial vehicle inspection, maintenance and repair support at its Selangor centres. Before contacting the team, prepare the vehicle brand and model, registration, mileage, service history and a description of any symptoms or concerns. Include the preferred service date and centre, and explain how the vehicle is used on its delivery routes. The workshop can then discuss the service requirements with you. PTM centres in Batu Caves, Kota Damansara and Puncak Alam open Monday to Saturday, 08:30-17:30, and close on Sundays and public holidays.
Build the plan around the vehicle and its work
Keep a record for each vehicle rather than relying on one general fleet note. Registration, model, current mileage and previous service information give the workshop a practical starting point. Describe how the vehicle is used, including regular loads, typical routes and any recent change in its operation. Report symptoms in your own words and say when they occur; avoid choosing a repair solely because another truck had a similar problem. A servicing interval or parts requirement must be checked for the specific vehicle and its applicable manufacturer guidance. This website does not replace a vehicle-specific maintenance schedule or confirm that a particular repair is needed.
Make the booking request clear
Choose one of PTM's three service centres and enter the vehicle details, email, contact number, current mileage, appointment type, preferred date and preferred time. Give the selected team enough context to prepare for the vehicle and discuss the next step. The centre still needs to confirm availability and the required work, so do not treat the form as a guaranteed workshop slot. Saturdays accept Normal Service or Major Service only; repairs, complaints and inspections are not accepted on Saturdays. PTM centres are closed on Sundays and public holidays. Keep the enquiry reference when following up, and tell the centre if the vehicle details or requested arrangement have changed.
